 May 19, 2016

The Sorting Office designer-maker studios in Eastleigh will be opening its doors to the public on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of June for its Summer Open Studios event.

The bi-annual event gives members of the public the chance to see what goes on behind the vibrant creative hub’s doors, where they can meet and chat with the 16 resident designer-makers, watch them work, and browse and buy a wide variety of exquisite hand-crafted products and designs.

A Maker’s Fayre, will also be set up in the studio’s Production House, with stalls manned by a variety of local businesses. (You can find details of confirmed stall holders below)

Artists will also be giving demonstrations on a variety of techniques from quilting, to jewellery making, to screen printing in the dedicated screen printing cabin.

The event itself, which runs from 11am-5pm on Saturday and 11am-4pm on Sunday, is free and open to everyone.
