Artist launches new series of fun and explorative workshops

 May 04, 2015

Try Something Different Workshop with Visual Artist Eve Dawson.

Join artist Eve Dawson for three hours of fun and exploration with her new Try Something Different Workshop.

The workshop is aimed at helping people explore in an intuitive way the process of creating original brushstrokes and leaving with a collection of vibrant, energetic and unique artworks.

Speaking about the workshop, Eve said: “What I want people to experience is the possibilities presented by working in a particular way. By simply applying ink or paint to a paper surface one can discover a variety of possibilities. The exercises offer up a potential pathway to further works. They act as triggers to new and different ways of approaching that blank white surface!”

Try Something Different Workshops run at various times and dates throughout the month at The Sorting Office, 37 Wels Road, Eastleigh SO50 5FY.

“Three hours of playing with paint – lots of splatting, blotting, and dribbling. Really good fun!”

“One of the most enjoyable artistic experiences. Eve is a brilliant teacher and a very talented artist. Took home some great ideas and some fabulous paintings. A truly wonderful way to spend a few hours.”
